The Fukuoka Dome serves as the home field of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. In 2005, Yahoo! Japan, one of SoftBank's subsidiaries, bought the stadium's naming rights.Built in 1993, the stadium can accommodate 35,695 spectators and was Japan's first stadium with a retractable roof.
The dome is located inside Hawks Town, near Momochi Beach. It is about 15 minutes walking distance from Tōjinmachi Station of Fukuoka City Subway.
